Horse Shows

Horse shows are an important part of a rider’s experience. They teach patience and how to manage stress and competitive behavior. At The Red Horse Farm, we emphasize showing as a rewarding learning experience for our riders and their horses. If you are interested in any of the following services, please contact us.

Students

Students may take school horses to horse shows, provided they have leased the horse for at least two months, or with instructor permission. A $50 trailering fee and $35 horse day lease fee is required. These fees give you a guaranteed ride to the show, a horse for as many classes as are safe for both horse and rider, and guidance from one of our experienced instructors.

Riders

If you have your own horse, but would still like guidance during your horse show experience, our instructors would be more than happy to help.

  • Semi-private (up to 3/instructor/horse show) guidance $25 day fee
  • Private guidance $75 day fee

Owners

Need show experience for your horse? For the cost of trailering, classes, and $30 to the rider, you can hire one of our instructors to show your horse.

Show Necessities

Keep in mind that these suggestions are not neccesary for all shows. Requirements for a schooling show are different than those for a breed show. All of the listed gear is helpful, but if you don’t have everything, please check with your instructor before making any purchases, as they may be unnecessary.
